A Child And A Teen Were Killed In A Drive-by Shooting In Fort Worth

Last Sunday in Fort Worth, around 2:00 pm, a vehicle pulled up outside a house where several people were gathered and someone inside the car started shooting. According to the police, a 5-year-old and a 17-year-old were killed and a toddler was injured.

Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes said to ABC News that authorities would use “every resource necessary” to find those responsible. Noakes also said that police are not yet sure of what kind of relationship existed between the ones who were shot. 

The police also said that the toddler who was shot is now stable and is expected to survive. Unfortunately, Jamarrien Monroe, 17, and Rayshard Scott, 5, both were pronounced dead at hospitals, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
